Salmon en Papillote

Are you a salmon lover? Because I definitely am! This simple papillote salmon dish is delicious and super healthy, DON'T MISS IT OUT!

My favorite fish is salmon so I eat it many times and in many different ways but until now this one is the best one + the healthiest one. Besides, salmon is a SUPERFOOD!

"En Papillote" means "In Paper" in French. This technique can be used to cook fish or other meats with any seasonings or veggies you prefer.

This recipe is so easy to make that it will blow your mind. The salmon and vegetables are wrapped in aluminium foil or baking parchment which allows it to steam and make it a healthy and flavorful meal.

CUISINE: SALMON EN PAPILLOTE


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 salmon steaks

  • 2 carrots

  • 1/2 yellow pepper

  • 1/2 eggplant

  • 1/2 zucchini

  • Dill to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 1/2 tbsp Coconut oil


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven at 180Cº.

  2. Prepare the salmon steaks by cleaning them with a paper and taking out the thorns. Then throw some dill on it.

  3. Cut the vegetables into small pieces in the form that you like the most.

  4. Take 4 pieces of aluminium foil or baking parchment and put the salmon on it. Also add the vegetables on it, add salt and coconut oil on each one of them.

  5. Close the foil or parchment so that it is completely wrapped and let it cook for 25 min (check that the salmon is fully cooked).
